The Reverend Dr. Karin Case grew up in Wellesley and attended the United Methodist Church. She attended Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota where she received a B.A. in religion and began her involvement with the United Church of Christ through joining a UCC church there. She furthered her education at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California, receiving a Master of Divinity degree. She received her doctoral degree in Christian Social Ethics from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. She has continued her work in racial justice, as a founding member and chair of the Race and Justice Task Force of the Massachusetts Conference of the UCC.
Karin feels a particular call to parish ministry and enjoys working with our youth, leading the Confirmation program and facilitating the Sunday night Youth Group and the Youth Discussion Group. Sharing in worship and the sacramental life of the church and teaching are important ministries to her.
Karin and her husband, Kevin McIntosh live in West Newton with their teenage son and daughter. Kevin is an English teacher at the Dover Sherborn Middle School. Karin enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and contra dancing.
