The Sacraments
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. All are welcome to participate. On most Sundays, plates of bread and cups of juice are passed down the pews. Occasionally, Communion is celebrated by intinction where participants are invited to come forward, receive bread and dip it in a communal cup. We celebrate the sacrament of Baptism on three or four occasions during the year. Baptisms take place during the Sunday worship service. The congregation participates by pledging their support for the parents and the child if a young child is being baptized or for the newly baptized if it is a youth or adult being baptized. Baptism can take place at any age. You do not have to be a member of our church to be baptized or to have a child baptized.
